How to enable custom vibrations on iPhone

By | August 21, 2011

You can now create custom vibrations when someone calls you. This is particularly useful if you always keep your iPhone on silent but you would still like to know who is calling without looking at the screen.

To turn this feature on you need to tap:

Settings > General > Accessibility > Custom Vibrations > On

This will now enable custom vibrations menu when you edit a contact. It will appear underneath ‘Ringtone’ as ‘Vibration’.

Please note: You must have iOS 5 installed for this to work.

As always please leave a comment or share this if you find this works for you. Thanks.
